The Medical Sales Representative is a key link between pharmaceutical companies and healthcare professionals. He/she is responsible for contacting potential customers such as primary care centres, hospitals and pharmacies, identifying their needs, convincing them that the products (medicines or medical devices) of his/her company can best satisfy their needs; closing the sale according to the terms and conditions; and providing an after-sales service.
Individuals in this position visits retail /wholesale outlets as per daily route plan & makes sales call using relevant selling aids like handhelds to increase productivity and achieve sales targets, demonstrate commanding knowledge of the trade being serviced by him and the existing competitors . Identify new outlets to increase sales of the products and provide service facilitating resolution of trade problems related to products and company being represented by the salesman. He/She creates demand at point of sale by creating visibility for products putting POSM(Point of sales material) and merchandising elements like counter top/shelves or racks depending on the category of product he/ she sells. Hence he/She needs to influence & own the execution standards of availability and in store visibility.
Field technician- Networking & Storage
The individual at work is responsible for attending to customer complaints, installing newly purchased products, troubleshooting system problems and, configuring hardware equipment such as servers, storage and other related networking devices.
Field Technician-Other home appliances
The individual at work installs the appliance and interacts with customers to diagnose the problem and possible causes. Once the problem and causes have been identified, the individual rectifies minor problems or replaces faulty modules for failed parts or recommends factory repairs for bigger faults.
