Projects Guidelines

The project should be done iteratively, using a time-box approach. A description of the principle can be found in the Extreme Programming.

Special Projects are projects that require some deviation from the terms and conditions of Short Term Training under PMKVY for any stakeholder. A proposing stakeholder can be either Government Institutions of Central and State Government(s)/Autonomous Body/Statutory Body or any other equivalent body or corporates who desire to provide training to candidates.

Special projects are given to the candidates to encourage training in special areas, premise of Government bodies, corporate or industry bodies. This also pushes the candidate to have special job training which will be important for the placements. Projects are completely aligned to the common standards. A slight deviation in the project with the approval of the committee can be done.

The ‘Special Projects’ gives you the freedom and the opportunity to shape and execute a project.

Special Projects can be a strategic tool to develop partnerships with local level players, establish a firm presence in districts and work on a concentrated, long term plan to enhance skills.
